GeoAgro CPlanner is a key component to help producers and Conservation consultants participate in NRCS Conservation Program. It is part of a wider information management framework for producers and consultants, which includes free tools together with specific paid services for personalized training, support and farm information services

What do I need to use CPlanner?

To use GeoAgro CPlanner you just need:

A Windows computer and an internet connection
A USDA level 2 authentication user/password (go to http://techreg.usda.gov for more info)
Ask your USDA NRCS Field Office to grant permissions to the customer folders that you would like to access. Please visit this article to learn more about this step

What type of conservation activities does it support?

GeoAgro tools are flexible and customizable, supporting different types of Conservation Activity Plans and local needs, while complying with NRCS national programs standards. Initially, the tools are available with sample datasets and online training to support Comprehensive Nutrient Management Planning and Forest Management Planning. Additionally, it will be gradually customized for other types of activity planning currently supported by NRCS, which include 9 other types of conservation activity plans:

Irrigation Water Management

Comprehensive Air Quality Management
