GeoAgro features CPlanner, an efficient way to access USDA Conservation Planning information
GeoAgro is pleased to present CPlanner, an entirely new concept in conservation planning activities that efficiently connects farmers and agronomists with USDA Conservation Programs.
GeoAgro CPlanner will allow authorized producers and Technical Service Providers to connect to the USDA NRCS National Conservation Planning database, enabling them to access Conservation Plans and customer folders as well as perform self-service for certain activities such as recording practice completion and submitting associated documents electronically. These capabilities provide complete flexibility in working from home, from the office or in the field, and being able to operate both connected or disconnected from the internet.
GeoAgro has partnered with the USDA NRCS for the technical development of CPlanner, as part of innovative USDA strategies for enhanced service delivery. The NRCS currently manages 1,000,000 conservation plans across the nation, contained in the USDA National Conservation Planning (NCP) database. Between 5,000 and 35,000 customer folders are serviced daily during the workweek.
CPlanner has been designed with one focus in mind: make it simple to use and require minimum training to electronically access conservation plans. GeoAgro CPlanner is available as a free beta version until June 30th, 2007; in this initial phase, the goal is to gather feedback from interested users and improve the product based on their comments.
Please come and explore GeoAgro CPlanner at www.cplanner.com. If you have questions or comments they are more than welcome, please contact Tony DiPollina, CPlanner Project Manager.
